After more than 30 years of serving our community with trusted livestock marketing services, we’re proud to announce a new chapter in our journey: 

Tooraweenah Prime Lamb Marketing Co-operative is now 

Tooraweenah Livestock and Property.

This name change marks more than just a fresh new look—it reflects our expanded services and renewed commitment to supporting our clients across every stage of rural and regional life.

We’re still the same reliable team you’ve come to know and trust. What’s changed is that in addition to livestock trading, we’re now offering comprehensive property sales—both rural and residential.

“This development is a natural extension of our commitment to our clients,” says Matthew Howard, Chairman of the Co-operative. “While livestock remains at the heart of what we do, our expanded services allow us to support the local community even more broadly—whether you’re a co-op member or not.”

To strengthen our new property offering, we’ve welcomed two outstanding professionals to lead our sales team:

• Michael Jackson, heading up our rural property division, brings over 40 years of experience in selling livestock, rural, and commercial properties. His deep industry knowledge and strong network are a tremendous asset for both buyers and sellers.
   
• Amanda Cruickshank, leading our residential sales, is a licensed real estate agent known for her dedication and client-first approach. With a solid background in residential property, Amanda is committed to making every step of the buying or selling process smooth and successful.

Will Lambell is a Farmer at “Weenya” and a Board Member of Tooraweenah Prime Lamb Marketing Co-Op. Will and his family run a mixed farming operation with cropping, shorthorn cattle, and over 2,000 head of self-replacing merino sheep. He is particularly focused on the livestock side of the business and sits on the board of the local marketing cooperative. 

In this episode, Will explains how “strength in numbers” is beneficial to farmers participating in a co-op. He also opens up about how he tries to practise what he preaches to only send prime, high-quality animals to sale.

Local Land Services Mixed Farming Advisor, Rohan Leach caught up to chat with Will at his property overlooking the picturesque Warrumbungle Range.
